David McClatchy appointed as an independent director of Barramundi Limited

Barramundi Limited has appointed David McClatchy as an independent director of the company effective from 1 July 2021.

Barramundi Chair, Alistair Ryan said, “Earlier this year the Board undertook a search for a new director to replace Carmel Fisher on the Barramundi Board. We are delighted that David has accepted the position.”

David brings extensive investment management knowledge having worked in the Australasian investment management industry for over 25 years.

In accordance with the company’s constitution and the NZX Listing Rules, this appointment runs until the next annual shareholders’ meeting when David must seek election by shareholders.

David will also join the Boards of Barramundi’s sister listed investment companies, Kingfish Limited and Marlin Global Limited.

The Board of Barramundi has determined David McClatchy to be an independent director, as defined in the NZX Listing Rules.
