Change to Management Engagement and Remuneration Committee

The Board of Baronsmead Second Venture Trust plc (the "Company") hereby announces the following changes to the role, functions, and responsibilities of a Director in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11.

Following a recent review of the Company's Management Engagement and Remuneration Committee (the "Committee") and its composition, Ms Sarah Fromson will stand down as Chairman of the Committee and be replaced in that role by Mr Tim Farazmand with immediate effect. Ms Fromson will remain a member of the Committee.

Ms Fromson remains Chairman of the Company but will therefore no longer also chair the Committee in accordance with Provision 9.2 of the Association of Investment Companies Code of Corporate Governance.
