Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The Board of Baronsmead Second Venture Trust plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Graham McDonald as an independent Non-Executive Director of the Company and a member of the Audit & Risk Committee, Management Engagement & Remuneration Committee and Nomination Committee, with effect from the close of the Company's Annual General Meeting on 16 February 2021.

Graham was the former Global Head of Private Equity & Venture Capital at Aberdeen Standard Investments.  He brings extensive leadership and private equity experience and has chaired investment committees, valuation, and portfolio construction committees.

Sarah Fromson, Chairman of the Company, commented on the appointment:
