Resolution passed at Annual General Meeting

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.2, the Resolution set out below concerning nonordinary business which was passed at the Annual General Meeting of Barclays PLC held on Friday 27 April 2012 is hereby notified to the National Storage Mechanism.

"That the Directors be and are hereby authorised to call general meetings (other than an AGM) on not less than 14 clear days' notice, such authority to expire at the end of the AGM of the Company to be held in 2013 or the close of business on 30th June 2013, whichever is the earlier."
