Bapcor Limited (ASX: BAP) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Bapcor Limited (‘BAP’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of BAP, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Friday, 17 April 2020 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Request for Trading Halt – Bapcor Limited

Pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Bapcor Limited (ACN 153 199 912) ( Bapcor ) requests the implementation of a trading halt in its ordinary shares (ASX Code: BAP) to apply from the commencement of trading today, Thursday, 16 April 2020.

Bapcor provides the following information for the purposes of ASX Listing Rule 17.1.

• (a) The trading halt is requested as Bapcor expects to make an announcement to ASX in connection with a capital raising comprising a fully underwritten institutional placement of fully paid ordinary shares in Bapcor (the Placement ), together with a non-underwritten share purchase plan of fully paid ordinary shares in Bapcor.

• (b) Bapcor requests that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of:

  • (i) Bapcor making an announcement to the market regarding the completion of the Placement; and

  • (ii) the commencement of trading on Friday, 17 April 2020.

• (c) Bapcor is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
