Inreference to current report of Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. ("theBank") No. 17/2023 of August 29, 2023 regarding_#160;theTLAC requirement for the Bank, the Management Board of the Bankannounces that on September 29, 2023 the Bank received two decisions ofthe Polish Financial Supervision Authority ("PFSA") on the consent for:

1._#160;_#160;_#160;_#160;recognitionpart of the net profit of a Bank for the first half of 2023 in theamount of PLN 800,000,000 (eight hundred million) in the Bank's Tier 1capital,

2._#160;_#160;_#160;_#160;recognitionpart of the consolidated net profit of the Capital Group of the Bank forthe first half of 2023 in the amount of PLN 800,000,000 (eight hundredmillion) in the Group's prudentially consolidated Tier 1 capital.
