Subject:Information about the appointment of Vice President of the ManagementBoard of Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A.

Legalbasis:§ 5 point 5) of the Ordinance of the Minister of Finance dated March 29,2018 on current and periodic information published by issuers ofsecurities and the conditions for regarding as equivalent theinformation required by the law of a non-member state (Official Journalof 2018, item 757).

BankHandlowy w Warszawie S.A. ("the Bank") announces that on May 11, 2022,the Supervisory Board of the Bank decided to appoint Mr. Andrzej Wilk tothe Management Board of Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. with the positionof the Vice President of the Management Board as of 1 July 2022 for athree-year term of office. As part of the internal division of powers inthe Management Board, Mr. Andrzej Wilk will be a Vice President of theBank's Management Board responsible for Consumer Banking.

Mr.Andrzej Wilk has an extensive professional experience in banking. Mr.Andrzej Wilk joined Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. in 1997 as Planningand Business Analysis Specialist. Then, he held a number of managementroles, including as the CFO Citifinancial Central Europe, supervisingthe development of over 200 branches and points of sale. He was also thehead of Retail Bank in Hungary, the Czech Republic and Romania. Between2014-2018 he worked outside of Citi, at Moneygram Polska as the CompanyCEO and at JP Morgan as the Managing Director. Mr. Andrzej Wilk thenreturned to Citi and since 2019 he has held a key function as the Headof Retail in Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. Mr. Andrzej holds a Master'sdegree from Management and Marketing Wrocław University of Technology.

Mr.Andrzej Wilk does not perform any business activity outside the Bank,and therefore he does not perform any activity competitive to BankHandlowy w Warszawie S.A., he does not participate in a competitivecompany as a partner in a civil company, partnership, or joint stockcompany, neither does he participate in a competitive legal person as amember of its governing body.

Mr.Andrzej Wilk is not listed in the Register of Insolvent Debtors kept onthe basis of the Act of August 20, 1997 on the National Court Register.
