Approval of the prospectus for Issuance of Subordinated Perpetual AT1 Capital Instruments ("Bonds") of Bank Muscat SAOG ("Bank") by the Capital Market Authority

Further to the announcement published on 10 November 2022 regarding the Resolutions of the Extra-Ordinary and Ordinary General meetings, the Bank is pleased to announce that the prospectus for the issuance of the Bonds (by way of dividend) has been approved by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) in accordance with the terms and conditions for allotment as set out in the prospectus. With this all the necessary approvals have been obtained for the Bond issuance.

The Bonds are expected to be listed on the Muscat Stock Exchange on 21 November 2022.
