UNOFFICIAL TRANSLATION08.05.2024 - Report 18/2024: Eventaffecting the Bank's financial results in the second quarter of 2024BankPolska Kasa Opieki Spółka Akcyjna (_quot;Bank_quot;) informsthat the consolidated financial results for the second quarter of 2024will include the cost related to the modification of PLN mortgage loanagreements granted to consumers, the total pre-tax amount of which willbe approximately PLN 513 million.The reason of recognizing theabove cost is that the Bank took into account customers' rights tosuspension of loan repayments resulting from the amendment to Act of 7July 2022 on social financing for business ventures and support toborrowers (the _quot;Act_quot;), announced in the Journal of Laws of 7May 2024, under position 696.Taking into account theparticipation criteria resulting from the Act, the Bank has estimatedthe participation among eligible customers and, as a result, estimatesthat about 38% of the volume of mortgage loans granted in Polish zlotywill be covered by the credit vacation.This estimate will beperiodically verified, in particular with regard to the assumed level ofcustomer participation, and its update will be included in the currentfinancial results.The above cost will be charged to thefinancial results of the Bank and the Group for the second quarter of2024.At the same time, the capital adequacy and liquidity ratios ofthe Bank and the Group will remain at safe levels, above the regulatoryrequirements.Detailed information on the above event will bepresented in the financial report for the first half of 2024, thepublication of which is planned for 8 August 2024.Legal grounds:Art. 17 of (1) MAR - inside information
