The following is a Company Announcement issued by Bank of Valletta p.l.c. pursuant to the Listing Rules, issued by the Listing Authority:

Bank of Valletta makes reference to its Interim Directors' Statement dated 28 October 2019, which stated that "the Bank is actively seeking to raise additional Tier 1 Capital by the end of the year which will further strengthen its regulatory capital."

Preparatory work on this issue is still ongoing, and the Tier 1 capital will now be issued in 2020.
