The following is a Company Announcement issued by Bank of Valletta p.l.c. (the "Issuer") pursuant to the Listing Rules, issued by the Listing Authority:

Approval of €50,000,000 Bank of Valletta p.l.c. 3.75% Unsecured Subordinated Bonds 2026- 2031 by the Listing Authority

Further to Company Announcement issued by Bank of Valletta p.l.c. on 27 May 2019, the Board of Directors of the Issuer hereby announces that it has been granted approval by the Listing Authority for the admissibility to listing on the Official List of the Malta Stock Exchange of €50,000,000 Bank of Valletta p.l.c. 3.75% unsecured subordinated bonds 2026 - 2031 (the "Bonds").

Application has been made in respect of the Bonds to be issued to the Malta Stock Exchange for admittance to its Official List and for trading to commence thereafter.

Further details on the offer of the Bonds, are set out in a prospectus dated 3 June 2019 (the "Prospectus"), copies of which may be obtained electronically on the Issuer's website www.bov.com as from 6 June 2019 or alternatively from all BOV branches and other authorised financial intermediaries listed in annex I of the securities note forming part of the Prospectus, as from 17 June 2019.

Personalised pre-printed application forms will be mailed by the Issuer to preferred applicants on 14 June 2019.
