The following is a Company Announcement issued by Bank of Valletta p.l.c. pursuant to the Malta Financial Services Authority Listing Rules:

In terms of the Prospectus dated 31 May 2011 and Final Terms dated 22 August 2011, the outstanding 4.8% Bank of Valletta p.l.c. Notes 2018 bearing ISIN MT0000021288 shall be redeemed by Bank of Valletta p.l.c. on the 27 August 2018. In this respect, the Bondholders appearing on the Register as at close of business on 12 August 2018 will receive payment of principal and the final interest on the 27 August 2018.

The last date of trading in the said securities shall be Wednesday, 8 August 2018.
