Call for Independent Non-Executive Directors

Bank of Valletta p.l.c. (the Bank) would like to invite individuals with relevant qualifications, competences, skills and experience, to express their interest in submitting their names for registration as independent Non-Executive Directors in the Nominations Pool of the Bank's Board of Directors.

Individuals who are deemed to satisfy the Bank's suitability criteria and regulatory expectations will be recorded in the Bank's Nominations Pool, and evaluated by the Bank's Nominations and Remuneration Committees. Interested individuals who are included in the Nominations Pool will not automatically be considered as having satisfied the nomination process for appointment to the Board at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). In this respect, the Bank will still be issuing an advert for appointment of directors at the forthcoming 2024 AGM in accordance with the Bank's Articles of Association.

The Bank invites interested persons to send an expression of interest outlining their experience and motivations for joining the Bank's Board of Directors, along with a résumé or curriculum vitae, to the Company Secretary at the House of Four Winds, Triq l-Imtiehen, Valletta VLT1130, or via email at bovocs@bov.com, by 24 January 2024.
