The following is a Company Announcement issued by Bank of Valletta p.l.c. pursuant to the Listing Rules, issued by the Listing Authority

The Bank hereby announces that the current Chairman of Bank of Valletta p.l.c. Taddeo Scerri, has informed the Government of Malta, as the shareholder appointing the Chairman, that he will be resigning with effect from 15th May 2020.
In accordance with the terms of the Bank's Memorandum and Articles of Association, the Government will be nominating a Chairman to be appointed on the Bank's Board of Directors.
