In light of the recent interest in Banco Santander's involvement in the process Citigroup, Inc. ("Citigroup") is carrying out in relation to the potential sale of certain parts of its operations in Mexico, Santander confirms that, after submitting a non-binding offer for the businesses in question, the Bank has been informed that it will not be continuing in the next stages of the process.
