In accordance with the provisions of Articles 9 and 10 of Law 18,045 and the provisions of Article 147 of Law 18,046, we inform you that Deloitte Advisory SpA was assigned by the Board of Directors of Banco Santander-Chile as the independent evaluator to report to the shareholders of the conditions of the acquisition of 51% of Santander Consumer Chile S.A. shares. Their report, issued on August 6 of this year also informs the effects and potential impact of the acquisition on the company.

The referenced report has been made available to shareholders on the www.santander.cl, “Accionistas” section and at the headquarters of the Bank, located at 140 Bandera, Floor 19, Santiago.
