In conformity with Articles 9 and 10 of the Law 18,045, Banco Santander Chile informs that in the Board Meeting held on March 15, 2005, the resignation of Board member Gerardo Jofré Miranda was accepted and his place on the Board will remain vacant until the upcoming Ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting.
