Banco Santander Totta, S.A. informs that Moody's rating agency increased from Baa2 to A1 the rating of the following covered bonds, originally issued by Banif – Banco Internacional do Funchal, S.A. under its covered bonds programme and transferred, pursuant to the provisions of the law and the resolution measure applied on 20 December 2015 by the Bank of Portugal, to Banco Santander Totta, S.A.:
