Banco Comercial Português, S.A. informs on the cooptation of new non-executive Directors, subject to authorization by the European Central Bank

Banco Comercial Português, S.A. informs that its Board of Directors, in accordance with the law and the Bank's regulations on Succession Planning, today approved the co-optation of Prof. Altina Sebastián and Mr. Pedro Ferreira Malaquias as independent non-executive directors of the Bank, thus filling the vacancies on the Board of Directors.

The co-optation was subject to the suspensive condition of obtaining authorization from the European Central Bank to exercise their functions and will be submitted for ratification at the Bank's next General Meeting.
