ANNOUNCEMENT

Banco BPI´s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Pablo Forero, 64 years of age, informed Banco BPI's Board of Directors of his decision to retire at the end of his current mandate.

In a meeting held on the 4th of May 2020, Banco BPI's Board of Directors, accepted Mr. Forero´s decision and decided to nominate Mr. João Pedro Oliveira e Costa, 54 years of age, a current member of the Board of Directors and of the Executive Committee, as successor to Mr. Pablo Forero as Chief Executive Officer, for the 2020-2022 term.

The nomination of the new Chief Executive Officer will only become effective upon receipt of the necessary approval by the supervisory authority.
