Banco BPM appoints Edoardo Faletti as new Head of the Risk Management Function (Risk Manager) as well as Chief Risk Officer (CRO)
Milan, 26 November 2024 – It is hereby announced that in today's meeting the Board of Directors of Banco BPM has resolved to appoint Mr. Edoardo Faletti as the new Head of the Risk Management Function (Risk Manager) as well as Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of Banco BPM as from 1 December 2024, replacing Mr. Andrea Rovellini, who is leaving the position after a long and esteemed career to enter retirement. Mr. Rovellini is thanked by the Board of Directors and the General Management for his commitment, contribution and professional skills put at the service of Banco BPM's growth.
Having started his career in the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, Edoardo Faletti joined Banca Popolare di Milano in 2014 as Head of Risk Integration & Capital Adequacy. Since 2017, in Banco BPM Group, he continued as Head of Risk Strategy & Capital Adeguacy and, since February 2018, he became Head of Enterprise Risk Management, reporting directly to the CRO. Since 2018, he has been an adjunct professsor in the Master in Risk Management at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
Finally, it should be noted that – in accordance with Article IA.2.6.7 of the Instructions to the Regulations of Markets Organized and Managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A. – the newly appointed CRO owns no. 4,720 Banco BPM shares.
