Notification of Transactions of Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities or Connected Persons 

Mr S J Tarr, having been designated a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility within Balfour Beatty plc ("the Company") with effect from 26 January 2015, has informed the Company of his interests in the Company's securities.

The total number of Ordinary Shares of 50p each in the Company ("50p Ordinary Shares") held by Mr Tarr and any connected persons within the meaning of Section 252 of the Companies Act 2006 is 49,745, comprising 0.007% of the Company's issued Ordinary Share capital.  In addition, Mr Tarr also holds options over 948 50p Ordinary Shares.
