Notification of Transactions of Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities or Connected Persons

On 11 March 2013, Balfour Beatty plc (the "Company") was informed that on 11 March 2013, Mrs W Moore, spouse of Mr J C Moore, a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities in the Company, sold 25,000 ordinary shares of 50p each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company at 279.4p per Ordinary Share.

As a consequence, the total number of Ordinary Shares held by Mr Moore and any persons connected with him within the meaning of Section 252 of the Companies Act 2006 is 53,173, comprising 0.008% of the Company's issued Ordinary Share capital.

The transaction referred to above took place in London.
