On 19 October 2022, the Company purchased 35,000 ordinary shares at a price of 713.0p. The shares purchased will be held in Treasury.

Following the purchase of the above shares 93,622,614 ordinary shares of 5p each will remain in issue.  The Baillie Gifford Japan Trust will hold 705,595 ordinary shares in Treasury.
