NOTICE OF DIRECTORATE CHANGE

As reported by the Company earlier this year, with effect from today and in accordance with current corporate governance best practice, Harriet Green has retired from the BAE Systems Board having completed nine years' service as a non-executive director.

Sir Roger Carr, Chairman of the Board, said, "Harriet has been an outstanding member of the Board and has made a material contribution providing invaluable strategic and operational guidance based on her considerable international experience in senior executive roles across a wide range of industries. Her knowledge, energy, enthusiasm and commitment to diversity in all its forms will be much missed."
