S.E ASIAN SALES FOR INTELLIHEART
IM Medical Limited (IMI) has signed a three-year agreement with a Malaysian company for distribution rights to the Intelliheart heart risk assessment system in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
The agreement is with Hijrah Venture Holdings Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian company that has business partnerships with Malaysian Hospitals, Medical Centres and General Practitioners.
The exclusivity of the agreement will centre on achievement of predetermined testing targets which will be reviewed on a periodical basis.
Under the agreement, Hijrah will purchase Intelliheart machines and all data will be transmitted back to IM Medical in Australia for analysis and reports on a feeper-test basis.
Hijrah’s first purchase order is for ten (10) machines which should be shipped in June for the first testing centres which will be in Malaysia. The Malaysian testing will begin after local staff is trained by IM Medical experts.
The first testing centre will have four (4) Intelliheart machines and will be located in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, a city 10km from Kuala Lumpur and servicing more than 1.5 million people. A second centre will be set up in Sabah shortly after.
