Appointment of New Director

IM Medical (IMI) is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Peter Jess as a director of IMI effective immediately. Mr Jess will be an invaluable addition to the current Board of IMI with his vast experience in business development as well as through his large network of associates in Business, Sport and the Arts.

Peter is a Chartered Accountant and is the principal of Peter W. Jess and Associates Pty. Ltd. He has broad based exposure to a wide range of industries. Peter has specialist skills in negotiations, taxation and business management, as well as providing advice on business solutions, including business structures, mergers, acquisitions and disposals.

Peter has represented clients in Europe, Asia and the USA. He is a pioneer in the field of personal representation for sports people, actors, and professionals with a list of high profile clientele. Peter was a co-founder of the Australian Football League Player Association’s (AFLPA) Education and Training Board, and was instrumental in setting up the player Agents Accreditation system in the AFL.

  • Peter is active in a number of charities and not-for-profit organisations including the Humour Foundation, Sports Health Check Australia – Indigineous Health and has been active in a wide range of indigenous issues including the Mirimbiak Nations Aboriginal Corporation, the official land rights group in Victoria.
