Melanie Maas-Brunner
Melanie Maas-Brunner began her career at BASF in 1997, holding numerous positions from Research Scientist focusing on plasticizers to her most recent roles serving as Chief Technology Officer, Industrial Relations Director, and member of their Board of Executive Directors. Ms. Maas-Brunner currently holds a board mandate at UPM – The Biofore Company and recently stepped down from the BASF Executive Board, effective January 2024. Ms. Maas-Brunner has spent time working in Asia and Europe, focusing on innovation, human resources, and sustainability.
Ms. Maas-Brunner holds a PhD in Chemistry from RWTH Aachen University.
Melanie Maas-Brunner begon haar carrière bij BASF in 1997 en vervulde talloze functies – van onderzoekswetenschapper met focus op weekmakers, tot haar meest recente rollen als Chief Technology Officer, Director Industrial Relations en lid van de Raad van Bestuur. Mevrouw Maas-Brunner heeft momenteel een bestuursmandaat bij UPM – The Biofore Company, en is onlangs met ingang van januari 2024 teruggetreden uit de Raad van Bestuur van BASF. Mevrouw Maas-Brunner heeft tijd doorgebracht werkend in Azië en Europa, met een focus op innovatie, human resources en duurzaamheid.
Mevrouw Maas-Brunner heeft een doctoraat in scheikunde van de RWTH Universiteit van Aken.
