SUB.: RE-CLASSIFICATION TO "PUBLIC" CATEGORY FROM "PROMOTER" CATEGORY.

REF: REGULATION 30 AND 31A OF THE SEBI (LISTING OBLIGATIONS AND DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS) REGULATIONS, 2015 ("LISTING REGULATIONS").

This is in continuation of our letter no. AXIS/CO/CS/285/2021-22 dated 15th September, 2021 intimating of the consideration and approval of request received from The Oriental Insurance Company Limited ("OICL"), by the Board of Directors (the "Board") of the Axis Bank Limited ("Bank"), to reclassify OICL to "Public" category from "Promoter" category, subject to the approval of the Stock Exchanges.

We wish to inform you that the Bank has submitted the prescribed applications to BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited on 12th October, 2021 in accordance with the relevant provisions of Regulation 31A of the Listing Regulations.

You are requested to take the above on record and bring this to the notice of all concerned.
