SUB.: RE-CLASSIFICATION TO "PUBLIC" CATEGORY FROM "PROMOTER" CATEGORY.

REF: REGULATION 30 AND 31A OF THE SEBI (LISTING OBLIGATIONS AND DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS) REGULATIONS, 2015 ("LISTING REGULATIONS").

This is in continuation to our letter no. AXIS/CO/CS/355/2021-22 dated October 12, 2021 in respect of the submission of applications to BSE Limited ("BSE") and National Stock Exchange of India Limited ("NSE") for reclassification of The Oriental Insurance Company Limited to "Public" category from "Promoter" category.

In this regard, we wish to inform you that BSE and NSE vide their respective letters dated December 20, 2021 have granted their approval for the reclassification of aforementioned promoter to "Public" category from "Promoter" category.

You are requested to take the above on record and bring this to the notice of all concerned.
