SUB.: INTIMATION OF RECEIPT OF A REQUEST LETTER FROM ONE OF THE PROMOTER OF THE BANK FOR

RE-CLASSIFICATION TO "PUBLIC" CATEGORY FROM "PROMOTER" CATEGORY.

REF.: REGULATION 30 AND 31A OF THE SEBI (LISTING OBLIGATIONS AND DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS) REGULATIONS, 2015 ("LISTING REGULATIONS")

This is to inform you that the Bank has today i.e. on 7th September, 2021 received a request letter dated 7th September, 2021, from The Oriental Insurance Company Limited ("OICL"), one of the Promoters of the Bank, to reclassify OICL to "Public" category from "Promoter" category, in accordance with Regulation 31A of the Listing Regulations.    

The aforesaid request for re-classification will be tabled at the ensuing meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bank and all necessary steps will be undertaken in accordance with Regulation 31A of the Listing Regulations.

You are requested to take the above on record and bring this to the notice of all concerned.
