Eva Pettersson new Divisional Director at Axfood Närlivs
Eva Pettersson has been named as new Divisional Director at Axfood Närlivs. Eva joined Axfood in 2004 and has a breadth of experience in wholesaling in the food retail industry. In recent years she has served as head of business development at Dagab with responsibility for implementation of Axfood's new business system for supply chain, among other things.
The divisional director's duties will be to continue developing the three business areas Axfood Närlivs Retailing, Axfood Snabbgross, and Nationwide customers and business-to-business e-commerce. Axfood Närlivs experienced strong development during the past year. Among other achievements, key agreements were extended with OKQ8, Statoil and Preem, and Axfood Snabbgross grew its market share in the restaurants and foodservice market.
Eva Pettersson will assume her position on 5 May and will be a member of Axfood's Executive Committee.

Axfood AB conducts food retail and wholesale business in Sweden. Retail business is conducted through the wholly owned store chains Willys and Hemköp, comprising 252 stores in all. In addition, Axfood collaborates with a large number of proprietor-run stores that are tied to Axfood through agreements. These include stores within the Hemköp and Willys chains as well as stores run under the Handlar'n and Tempo profiles. In all, Axfood collaborates with approximately 820 proprietor-run stores. Wholesaling is conducted through Dagab and Axfood Närlivs. Axfood is listed on Nasdaq OMX Stockholm AB's Large Cap list. Axel Johnson AB is the principal owner, with 50.1% of the shares.
