S&P Upgrades Avast to BB
Avast plc, a leading global cybersecurity provider, announces that S&P Global Ratings ('S&P') has raised its issuer credit rating on Avast to 'BB' from 'BB-', with a stable outlook.
In addition, on 22 March Avast voluntarily paid down $200m of existing USD debt using cash on the balance sheet.
Avast's current credit ratings:
S&P Global Ratings: BB (stable)
Moody's: Ba3 (stable)
