Auto Trader Group plc (LSE: AUTO, "Auto Trader" or the "Company") the UK's largest digital automotive marketplace, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jill Easterbrook as an Independent Non-Executive Director from 1 July 2015. Jill will chair the Remuneration Committee, and will join the Audit and Nomination Committees.

Jill is currently a member of the Executive Committee at Tesco PLC. She joined Tesco in 2001 and has held a variety of strategic and operational leadership roles. She has run a number of multichannel businesses within Tesco including UK and ROI Clothing and the Developing Businesses division and is currently Group Business Transformation Director. Jill started her career at Marks & Spencer in buying and merchandising and also spent time as a management consultant with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young.

Following Jill's appointment, membership of Board Committees will be as follows: Jill Easterbrook will chair the Remuneration Committee, with Members David Keens and Chip Perry; David Keens will chair the Audit Committee with members Jill Easterbrook and Chip Perry; Ed Williams will chair the Nomination Committee with members Jill Easterbrook, Tom Hall, David Keens and Chip Perry. Jill's appointment brings all the Board's Committees into line with the Corporate Governance Code.

Commenting on her own appointment, Jill said:
