Director appointment and Board Committee changes

Auto Trader Group plc (LSE: AUTO), the UK's largest digital automotive marketplace, today announces that David Keens has been appointed as an independent non-executive director with immediate effect. 

David has also been appointed as Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Audit Committee and will join the Remuneration and Nomination Committees with immediate effect. Tom Hall steps down as Chair of the Audit Committee but will continue to serve as a member of the Audit Committee.  Ed Williams (Chairman) steps down from the Audit Committee.

David was previously Group Finance Director of NEXT plc (1991 - 2015) and their Group Treasurer (1986 - 1991). Previous management experience includes nine years in the UK and overseas operations of multinational food manufacturers Nabisco (1977 - 1986) and prior to that seven years in the accountancy profession. David is currently a non-executive director of J Sainsbury Plc. Save as disclosed herein, there are no further details required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13 in connection with his appointment.
