TRADING HALT

The securities of Australian Vanadium Limited (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Friday 13 April 2018 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Request for Trading Halt

Pursuant to Listing Rule 17.1, Australian Vanadium Limited (“AVL” or “the Company”) requests an immediate trading halt be granted by the ASX, with respect to AVL’s quoted securities.

In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1, AVL advises that:

• (a) the reason for the request is to facilitate an orderly market in the Company’s securities pending an announcement regarding a capital raising;

• (b) it anticipates that the trading halt will remain in place until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Friday,13 April 2018, and when the announcement regarding the capital raising is made to the market;

• (c) it is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted; and

• (d) the capital raising is material to the Company.
