Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Australian Unity Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Patricia O’Rourke as a non-executive director effective from 28 August 2025.

Ms O’Rourke has over 35 years’ experience in the public, private and research health sectors, including senior executive and director roles. She is a non-executive director of Epiminder, a medical device company developing brain monitoring technology. She has also held director roles with the GARVAN Institute of Medical Research, St. Vincent’s Institute of Medical Research, Aikenhead Centre for Medical Discovery, the Victorian Endowment for Science Knowledge and Innovation (VESKI)and Monash Health.

Ms O’Rourke was previously Chief Executive Officer – Private Hospital Division at St. Vincent’s Health Australia, after spending nearly 36 years at St. Vincent’s in various clinical director and operations, and chief executive officer roles. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and of the Harvard Leadership Program.
