Director Retirement – Mr Stephen Maitland

Australian Unity Limited wishes to advise that Mr Stephen Maitland has announced his retirement as a director of the board of Australian Unity Limited with effect from the conclusion of the 2017 AGM on 1 November 2017.

Mr Maitland was appointed to the board of Australian Unity Limited in March 2005, following the merger with Grand United Friendly Society Limited.

During his 12 year tenure Mr Maitland has served as Chair of the Audit & Compliance Committee, as a member of the Investment and Risk Committees and as a director of a number of Australian Unity subsidiary boards.

The board would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Maitland for his valuable and substantial contribution to the organisation.
