Austral Resources Australia Ltd (ASX:AR1) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Austral Resources Australia Ltd (‘AR1’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of AR1, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Friday, 12 August 2022 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Request for Trading Halt

Copper producer Austral Resources Australia Ltd (ASX: AR1 ) (“ Austral” or “ AR1 ” or the “ Company ”) requests a trading halt to be placed on its securities immediately.

In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1, the Company advises that:

• (a) the trading halt is requested pending the release of an announcement in relation to a share placement;

• (b) the Company requests that securities remain in trading halt until the earlier of the announcement to the market of the share placement or the commencement of trade on Friday 12 August 2022; and

• (c) the Company is not aware of any reasons why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
