RESIGNATION OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Austal Limited ( Austal ) (ASX:ASB) announces that Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Greg Jason has tendered his resignation from the Company, to take an extended break.

Mr Jason commenced with Austal almost 15 years ago, serving in both finance and operational roles, the last nine years as CFO. He will conclude his tenure at Austal in December 2021, and, similar to previous senior management changes at Austal, will assist in the search and transition process to appoint a new CFO.

Mr Jason said his substantial tenure as Austal CFO was a career highlight.

“Helping establish shipbuilding operations in Asia and overseeing Austal’s dynamic operations across several continents over a prolonged period of time has been a fulfilling journey,” he said.

“The time is now right to take a break and spend some time with my family before assessing and pursuing new opportunities.”

Austal Chief Executive Officer Paddy Gregg said Mr Jason is departing with the Company in a strong financial position.

“Greg has played a key role in the financial stewardship of Austal, enabling the Company to grow its industry-leading capabilities across the globe, including Australia, the United States of America and the broader Asian region,” Mr Gregg said.

“On a personal level I enjoyed working with Greg for the past four and a half years, and on behalf of the Austal Board and executive team we sincerely wish him the best in his future endeavours.”

This ASX announcement has been approved and authorised for release by Patrick Gregg, Austal Limited’s Chief Executive Officer.
