MEDIA CLARIFICATION INCORRECT REFERENCE TO MR BOB BROWNING

Contrary to incorrect media reports over the weekend, Austal Limited has not appointed Mr Bob Browning as Chief Executive Officer. Mr Browning is Chief Executive Officer of Austal’s 100% subsidiary operations in the United States.

Mr John Rothwell has indicated no intention to step down from his role as Executive Chairman of the Company.
