APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER TO IMPLEMENT EXPLORATION PROGRAMS

Ausmon Resources Limited (ASX:AOA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Mark Derriman as Chief Technical Officer of the Company with responsibility to manage the exploration programs within the Company’s tenements in NSW and QLD.

Mark is an exploration geologist with over 30 years’ experience working in a variety of geological environments across Australia with primary experience in gold and base metals. He has worked for Normandy Mining and Ashton Gold in senior geologist to exploration manager roles and in teams that discovered several multi-million-ounce gold deposits. He was also Chief Operations Officer for Queensland Bauxite before setting up his consultancy Rock Tiger Exploration Services providing technical expert consultancy and managing the exploration activities of several ASX listed companies. He is presently a director of ActivEx Limited, an exploration company listed on ASX.

He holds relevant qualifications required by ASX, JORC and VALMIN Codes in Australia to qualify as a Competent Person in reporting exploration results as defined in the JORC Code. He is a member of AIG (MAIG) and holds Registered Professional Geologist (RPGeo) accreditation.

Mark is supported by Wolfgang Leyh, a highly experienced consultant geologist based in Broken Hill, who has explored for many years the areas within the Company’s recently granted ELs 8745, 8746 and 8747 near Broken Hill. The immediate focus is the design and implementation of exploration programs targeting cobalt and base metals following the significant and encouraging findings (see ASX announcement released on 17 July 2018) from the relogging and assaying of

the historic diamond hole DD95STV3 drilled in 1995 by previous explorers into the Stirling Vale Synform and that is located 300 metres to the south of the Stirling Vale Prospect that will be the target of cobalt exploration within EL 8747 by the Company. Both the cobalt, gold and base metal assay results indicate that the EL 8747 Stirling Vale Prospect has the potential to host ore grade mineralisation.

The Stirling Vale Synform appears to bear similar geology to Cobalt Blue’s (ASX:COB) Pyrite Hill Geology with the “Pl2” pyritic bearing horizon present. The Stirling Vale Synform is located 20 kms north east of Cobalt Blue’s Thackaringa deposit in EL6622, and 10 kms west of Broken Hill.
