Aurionpro Payment Solutions Pvt Ltd inducts new Board Members

Aurionpro Payment Solutions Private Limited (“APS”) is delighted to announce induction of new board members which shall bring diversity and depth to the board deliberations. The new Board strikes a right mix of talent, experience and expertise as it comprises representation of young, dynamic millennial as well as industry veterans having rich experience in banking & financial industry.

Aurionpro had announced its foray into payments business recently, with the unveiling of Payment gateway, “Auropay” that will help enable Micro, Small, Medium and Enterprise merchants to accept and receive payments Online seamlessly. The new board members will provide guidance and mentorship to steer APS in achieving its strategic goals and objectives, at this critical juncture.

The brief profile of the new inductees is as under:

1. Mr. Surinder Singh Kohli

Mr. Surinder Singh Kohli has a phenomenal successful career over 42 years in the Banking Industry. Finance is his area of expertise. Mr. Kohli held the coveted post of Chairman and Managing Director of Punjab & Sind Bank, Punjab National Bank and India Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd. Mr. Kohli is on the Board and Committees of various Companies.

2. Dr. Rajeev Uberoi

Dr. Rajeev Uberoi has a career spanning over three decades with rich experience of working in banking & financial sector having served at senior positions at several domestic and multinational banks such as IDFC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Union Bank of India, State Bank of India, Reserve Bank of India as Asst. General Manager, Dept.of Banking Supervision, Citibank as Vice President & Regulatory Head; ANZ Grindlays Bank as Head- Risk Management & Compliance – India. Dr. Uberoi is also a profound writer and has a lot of publications to his credit. He is member of various Committees and has been active on the Speaker circuit. He is recipient of many accolades and awards and his contribution to the legal fraternity has been recognized in the Industry. Dr. Uberoi is a lawyer and a Canadian Commonwealth Scholar with a Masters from McMaster University and a Ph.D. in Economics. He also possesses a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Management Development Institute (MDI). He is also on the Board of many leading companies.

3. Ms. Bhakti Zaveri Metawala

Ms. Bhakti Zaveri Metawala is a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Mumbai University, followed by a Master of Science in Engineering Management from University of Southern California. She has been part of the Aurionpro group since the past 7 years and is been working on various projects with the US & India entities of Aurionpro Group. Ms. Bhakti is responsible to drive payment business in India and is working on forming the strategic partnerships and alliances in the market.
