Resignation of Director and Lapse of Unlisted Options

Navarre Minerals Limited (ASX Code: NML) ( Navarre or the Company ) advises that Mr John Dorward has resigned as a non-executive director of the Company, effective 2 April 2020.

Mr Dorward is a founding director and was appointed to the Navarre Board in November 2010. He is stepping down due to increased work commitments as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Canadian-based, Roxgold Inc. with its expanding West African mining operations.

Chairman comment

Navarre Chairman, Mr Kevin Wilson, said: “On behalf of my fellow directors, management team and shareholders, I would like to thank John for his valuable contribution to the Company, and we wish him well for the future.”

The Company will defer appointing a replacement director, in the short term, due to the extraordinary business conditions surrounding the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Lapse of Unlisted Options

Following Mr Dorward’s resignation, 1,400,000 unlisted options over fully paid ordinary shares in the Company (consisting of 750,000 options with an exercise price of 15 cents expiring 10 April 2023, and, 650,000 options with an exercise price of 12 cents expiring 17 May 2024) have lapsed in accordance with their terms.

Below is a summary of the Company’s quoted and unquoted securities as at 2 April 2020 following the lapse of the 1,400,000 options referred to above:
