Working experience and occupation

Mr. Wong Ji Yung (Mr. Wong) was appointed to the Board on 11 September 2023 as Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of AuMAS Resources Berhad (AuMAS). He is subsequently redesignated as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer with effect from 1 May 2026. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (ACFE). He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Account and Financial Management from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom in 2003. He began his career with KPMG until he left the firm in 2009 for the corporate sector, including with Huawei in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the Country Business Controller. In 2014, he ventured into the palm oil industry and was the Head of Trading and Marketing of Kretam Holdings Berhad Group until 2023.
