Telefonica Spain Selects AudioCodes VoIP Media Gateways

AudioCodes MediaPacks™ Deployed into Spanish VoIP Network

Lod, Israel, April 17, 2007 – AudioCodes (NASDAQ:AUDC), a leading provider of Voice over Packet (VoP) technologies and Voice Network products, and Telefonica, one of the world's largest telecommunications companies, focusing its activities in the fixed and mobile telephony business, today announced that AudioCodes media gateways have been chosen for broadband connectivity for business customers and services for the Spanish market.

Ericsson Spain S.A., the main project contractor, has successfully integrated AudioCodes best of breed gateways into their solution enabling Telefonica Spain to provide advanced hosted services to the Spanish enterprise market. This solution offers a gradual migration to IP while keeping the customer's existing PSTN telephone number along with receiving innovative IP Centrex services.
