AudioCodes Announces Mediant ™ 3000 Media Gateway for VoP Applications

New mid-density media gateway will help lower the cost for deploying VoIP in cable, wireline, and wireless networks

Lod, Israel – June 21, 2004 – AudioCodes Ltd. (NASDAQ: AUDC), a leading provider of Voice over Packet (VoP) technologies and Voice Network products, announced today the introduction of the Mediant 3000 media gateway into the AudioCodes’ product families. The Mediant 3000 media gateway offers up to 4,032 low-bit-rate VoIP/VoATM channels and SONET/SDH optical PSTN interfaces. The Mediant 3000 will be offered in 1+0, 1+1 or 2+0 media gateway blade configurations that contain the functionality of the stand-alone shelf controllers, ethernet switches, voice processing blades and interface cards typically utilized in large
