The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Dividend Proposal for Fiscal-Year 2001/2002 AT&S AG, Leoben, June 17, 2002. At the Supervisory Board meeting on June 14, 2002, the annual financial statements for the fiscal year 2001/2002 (ended March 31, 2002) were approved. Subsequent to a Supervisory Board report the 8th Annual General Meeting, which is to be held on July 5, 2002, will decide on the appropriation of profits. From the retained earnings of EUR 55,604,827 (parent company) a dividend shall be paid in the amount of EUR 0.18 per share entitled to receive a dividend, and the residual profits shall be carried forward to new accounts. Last year’s dividend amounted to EUR 0.26 per share. The results for the fiscal year 2001/2002 were published on May 28, 2002.
