AT&S AG, Vienna, Austria, March 11, 2008
In its 52nd meeting, the Supervisory Board of AT&S Austria Technologie &
Systemtechnik Aktiengesellschaft approved to build a new plant in
Nanjangud, India. The decision is based on the fact that the capacity of
the existing factory, also located in Nanjangud, is currently fully
utilized and on the clearly increasing demand from our existing customers
for standard multilayer and double-sided PCBs.
The investments for this project will presumably amount to EUR 24 million
in fiscal year 2008/09 and EUR 12 million in 2009/10. AT&S Group’s total
investments for fiscal year 2008/09 and 2009/10 will presumably be less
than EUR 90 million and less than EUR 60 million, respectively.
The management of AT&S anticipates first time revenue contributions of the
new plant of around EUR 18 million in 2009/10 and, thereafter, as soon as
the capacities will have been fully built-up, revenues of approximately EUR
37 million.
