Für den Inhalt der Mitteilung ist allein der Emittent verantwortlich. —————————————————————————— Hinterberg II zweite Ausbaustufe: Der Vorstand der AT&S AG wird in der Aufsichtsratssitzung vom 20. Jänner 2000 den Antrag einbringen die zweite Ausbaustufe des neuen Werkes Hinterberg II (HTB II)vorzuziehen. Für diese Kapazitätserweiterung bedarf es Investitionen von EURO 58 Mio. (800 Mio. ATS) im Wirtschaftsjahr 2000/2001. Dadurch wird die bestehende Kapazität des Werkes HTB II nahezu verdreifacht. Durch diese Investition werden in diesem Werk in etwa 300 neue Jobs geschaffen. Insgesamt sollen dann in HTB II rund 750 Menschen beschäftigt sein. Der Vollbetrieb soll im Verlauf des Wirtschaftsjahres 2001/2002 erreicht werden Weiters wird der AT&S Vorstand heute eine neue Kooperation mit der Kapsch AG in einer Pressekonferenz vorstellen. Die AT&S AG übernimmt ab 1. Jänner 2000 die Aufträge aus der per 31.12.1999 stillgelegten Leiterplattenfertigung der Kapsch AG. Die Firma Kapsch wird durch diese Vereinbarung der zweitgrößte AT&S Kunde in Österreich. —————————————————————————– ENGLISH VERSION —————————————————————————– Hinterberg II (HTB II) plant second stage: The Managing Board of AT&S will propose to the Supervisory Board in its meeting on January 20, 1999 to pull forward the expansion (stage II) of the Hinterberg II plant. This capacity expansion in HTB II will be achieved through a EURO 58 million (ATS 800 million) investment program in the fiscal year 2000/2001. Through this investment the existing capacity in the HTB II plant will nearly triple and roughly 300 new jobs will be created. In total about 750 people will be employed in the HTB II plant. The ramp up of HTB II to full production will be achieved in the course of the fiscal year 2001/2002. Furthermore the Managing Board of AT&S will announce today in a press conference a cooperation with Kapsch AG. As of January 1, 2000 AT&S will take over the orders (production of PCBs) from the Kapsch AG PCB plant that was closed on December 31,1999.
